In Company of Cats and Dogs

On Wednesday, Douglas Cushing joined us from the Blanton Museum of Art and talked with us about the current exhibit, “In Company of Cats and Dogs.” Douglas talks with our host Amanda Tatom about the exhibit and how it gives a look at our relationship with cats and dogs through the ages. He talked to us about just a couple of the (approximately) 150 works that are being shown. The family friendly exhibit has things ranging from a resource center, a kitty condo, and a rotating photo wheel of visitors pets. The exhibit is running now and goes through September 21st at the Blanton Museum of Art located at MLK Blvd and Congress Ave. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
