Determined ATM thieves ram truck into store six times

EDWARDSVILLE, Kan. (NBC/KSHB) — Three thieves try to steal an ATM machine from a Kansas convenience store, but the machine proves to be too much. This surveillance video shows the thieves ramming a van into Snappy Store. One man then tries to crack the ATM machine to get the cash, but when he can’t, the van smashes into building five more times.

Police say the thieves got away with the ATM’s computer but no cash or merchandise.

“You see the suspects in the video, and we always encourage people to contact our department if you recognize anybody,” said detective Ken Russell.

Police have recovered the operating system that was stolen from the ATM. However, they are still looking for three people that are believed to be responsible for this damage.
