Weekend Gardener: Time to trim rose bushes

Weekend Gardener: Trimming rose bushes

AUSTIN (KXAN) — As we get into the fall season, rose bushes get another big rose bloom, so rose bushes need to be trimmed back by a third. Make sure you remove all the wood that is smaller than the size of a pencil.

Make sure you don’t leave stubs, because that will cause dieback.
