FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Police suspect a murder-suicide in the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were found in the bedroom of a Fort Worth house.

Homicide Sgt. Joe Loughman tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that police believe the shootings Wednesday were a murder-suicide but are awaiting rulings by the medical examiner’s office before saying which one shot the other.

The 44-year-old man and 25-year-old woman, described by police as boyfriend and girlfriend, had each been shot in the head. A weapon was found at the scene.

Loughman said the bedroom was in disarray, indicating a possible struggle.

Police have said two other adults who live at the house found the bodies when they arrived home.
