Leilani Galvan with Juiceland Austin visited us in the studio today to show us a simple recipe for getting all your nutrients from a smoothie. Begin by adding your fresh greens first so that the blades really break everything up well. For this smoothie, they used 12 oz. frozen peaches, 1 TBSP brown rice protein, 1 large handful of kale, 1 large handful of spinach and enough fresh apple juice to completely submerge all previous ingredients. Start your blender on a low setting to break down the ingredients a little, then turn your blender to high for about a minute to thoroughly combine all of the ingredients.
