AUSTIN (KXAN) — We all knew Los Angeles had Emmy fever, and now we know that the cure is apparently in New York City – where the condition was not rampant. Billy Eichner from Funny or Die’s “Billy on the Street” took to the street with NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers host, who also happened to be hosting this year’s 66th Primetime Emmy Awards.

In this Emmy-edition game of “For a dollar ….,” we see people win money for agreeing with Eichner about pop culture. And we also see people failing miserably. But that’s why this is funny – the dichotomy of two cities in the same country that are worlds apart. The thousands of miles between them increases – or decreases, depending on which way you’re headed — your chances of succumbing to Emmy fever.
