Police identify man killed in Kyle crash

KYLE, Texas (KXAN) — Police have identified the man killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 Friday night.

According to Kyle police, Jonathian Driskill, 29, was riding his motorcycle southbound on Interstate 35 at about 9:15 p.m. when he was involved in a crash with an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle. The collision happened near mile marker 217. Driskill, who lived in Kyle, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Southbound lanes of I-35 were closed for several hours while authorities were on-scene. Kyle police continue their investigation into what caused the crash. Officers ask anyone with information to call the Kyle Police Department at 512-268-3232.
