Overnight house fire in Round Rock leaves one injured

Round Rock (KXAN) – First responders worked for nearly an hour to fight a house fire in Round Rock early Saturday morning. Firefighters from Round Rock and Pflugerville were called to the 3300 block of Winding Way at about 1:30 a.m.

When crews arrived, they found the garage fully engulfed. Two cars in the driveway were also on fire.

Five people were home at the time. One of them suffered burns. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The damage estimate and cause are still under investigation.
