AUSTIN (KXAN) — Democratic Rep. Elliot Naishtat, who represents Austin, was injured in a bicycle crash Friday.

According to state Rep. Donna Howard, Naishtat was attending the National Conference of State Legislatures Legislative Summit in Minneapolis when he was involved in a bicycle accident. Howard tells KXAN the crash did not involve a car.
