New Music Tuesday brought in Patrick Floyd from Waterloo Records to give us the lowdown on what’s happening in music this week. He told us about the new album Chorus from the Philly indie pop band Literature. He also talked about one of the Crescent City’s greats Dr. John and his tribute to Louis Armstrong called Ske-Dat-De-Dat: The Spirit of Satch. Also we heard about the tech sounds of Imogen Heap and her new album Sparks. Waterloo has some in store performances to tell us about as well. Today at 5 pm, Texan Sarah Jaffe will perform songs from her electro-pop album Don’t Disconnect and next Monday at 5 pm local rockers The Young will perform from their album, Chrome Cactus.

Fresh off his appearance in the hit movie Boyhood, Sean Tracey joined us to talk about his gigs next month at the White Horse on September 9 and the Continental Club on September 11. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
