‘Today Show’ weatherman Al Roker corn maze pops up

NEAR ATKINS, Iowa (NBC/BLOOMSBURY FARM) — To celebrate “Today Show” weatherman Al Roker’s upcoming 60th birthday, a farm in eastern Iowa has created a corn maze in his image. It looks just like him. This aerial photo was provided by Bloomsbury Farm, which says it took six hours to cut out the design over 10 acres of corn.

Every year, farm owners Dave and Karen Petersen choose a different theme, but this year they chose Roker because they say “he seems like a great guy” and they appreciate his charity work.

The maze includes 2 miles of paths for everyone to explore and opens during the Labor Day weekend and runs through Halloween. Roker turns 60 on Wednesday.
