Pope Francis attends rally, but first let him take a selfie!

DANGJIN, South Korea (NBC/KOREA POOL VIA RTV) — Pope Francis hugged and took selfies with young Asian Catholics in South Korea. Thousands of cheering young Catholics from across Asia gave the pontiff an ecstatic welcome Friday at a rally in the Shrine of Solmoe, the birthplace of Korea’s first priest and where the sixth Asian Youth Day has been taking place this week.

As the pope was greeting visitors on stage, a young man asked to take a selfie. The pope obliged. He smiled and pointed at the young man who clicked away. Francis arrived on Thursday and is meeting some of the country’s 5 million Catholics during his five-day trip.
