Restaurant hold ice-cream social for charity

Austin (KXAN) – TRACE invites guests to cool down with delicious summer treats while giving back to the community Saturday afternoon.

Executive Pastry Chef Angel Begaye will be offering all that attend a break from the heat with a taste of her favorite cool summer flavors while giving back to the community. The ice-cream social benefits local nonprofit SafePlace.

There will even be ice-cream for dogs.

The event is free, but guests are encouraged to bring a school supply for donation.

TRACE is located at 200 Lavaca Street in the W Austin.  The social happens from 3p.m. until 5p.m. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
