Central Texas comedians remember Robin Williams

AUSTIN (KXAN) – A group of Austin comedians spent Saturday remembering the life and legacy of Robin Williams.

The 63-year-old actor died Monday at his home in California. Members of the Austin comedy community remembered the legend by dressing up as characters from his films.

“The energy he had just pulled people to him because he was just always doing something,” said Timothy Cole, who dressed as Mrs. Doubtfire. “You’ve got people who just sit there and watch life go by and you’ve got people who make life, and he was one of those who make life in that aspect.”

The group hopes to see similar parades in cities across the country.
