Bollywood meets Shakespeare this Midsummer Night

A troupe from the Scottish Rite Theater stopped by Studio 512 on Monday to give us a preview of their production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The bard goes Bollywood in this hilarious adaptation! We were joined by Choreographer Preya Patel who showed our host Amanda Tatom some fancy Bollywood moves with the help of King Oberon.

After the dance lesson, the Fairy Queen Titania and Nick Bottom danced the comical moment Titania woke up and fell in love with the donkey-headed Bottom. This production is running Fridays and Saturdays through August 23.
