WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — The CR 456 bridge over Brushy Creek is closed until further notice.

Engineers closed the bridge located near Coupland Wednesday due to structural concerns.

The Williamson County Road and Bridge Department and TxDOT made the decision after evaluating the bridge Wednesday, according to a county spokesperson.

The County is working with TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration to work on a plan to either repair or replace the bridge.
