TOKYO, Japan (NBC/RTV) — A Japanese company hopes to convince its employees that life at the office is a beach.

The sound of waves and the crunch of sand beneath your feet is not what you expected to have at the office.

But venture company BizReach hopes employees and customers would believe that life can be a beach at work in Tokyo.

Using a carpet of sand, speakers and a 3-D projector, it has recreated a tropical beach in the reception area.

It’s also used as their employee meeting space and staff lounge.

Although the water, waves and sea life are just an illusion, the sand certainly is not.

The company brought in two tons of it from the real beach.
