AUSTIN (KXAN) — Life in the dumpster got a little better for a professor in Austin.

We told you about the experiment at Huston Tillotson University where a professor chose to live inside a 36 square foot dumpster. Up until now, things have been fairly primitive — just a sleeping bag and lights inside.

Today, a second phase of the project started: where Doctor Jeff Wilson gets an air conditioning unit. The next phase ups the ante with your typical household items — but in a environmentally friendly way.
