Man seriously injured after falling from UT building

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was seriously injured after falling about 70 feet from a University of Texas building Sunday, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

Medics were dispatched to the Dorthy L. Gebauer building in the 100 block on Inner Campus Drive at about 4 p.m. Sunday.

The victim was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with potentially life-threatening injuries.

UTPD is investigating the incident. A department spokeswoman said the man is not affiliated with the university.
