Bryan teen killed playing with gun

BRYAN, Texas (AP) — A Central Texas teenage has died after he and another man were playing with a gun and the weapon discharged.

Bryan police say 18-year-old Tyrell Wilson of Bryan was pronounced dead Friday at a hospital.

Officers on Thursday night responded to reports of a shooting at a house. Investigators say Wilson and another 18-year-old man were playing with an unspecified firearm when the weapon discharged.

Details on Wilson’s fatal injuries and the name of the other man weren’t immediately released.

Officer Kelley McKethan had no immediate additional details.
