AUSTIN (KXAN) – After nearly six years forecasting Austin weather and reporting on environmental stories for KXAN, meteorologist Natalie Stoll is moving to a job off-camera. Thursday is Stoll’s last day on air.
“Natalie has chosen to pursue an opportunity with more family-friendly hours, working as a communication specialist for LCRA,” said KXAN news director Chad Cross. “We appreciate her contributions at KXAN and look forward to working with Natalie in her new role.”
“I’m lucky to have spent years forecasting Central Texas weather as part of a fantastic team at KXAN. I’ll miss my coworkers and our viewers, but I’m also looking forward to this next career challenge,” she said.
The St. Louis native graduated from University of Missouri and then started her television career in Sioux City, Iowa. Stoll signed-on with KXAN in October 2008.
“Natalie’s endearing demeanor and top-notch meteorological skills have made her a viewer favorite and a highly-valued member of our First Warning Weather team. We hate to lose her but are excited for the opportunity she is embarking on,” Jim Spencer said.
