AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two men are on the run after robbing a person at gunpoint across from the University of Texas campus.

The robbery happened about 5:30 p.m. at 2612 Guadalupe Street.

Police are looking for two black men wearing black do-rags and black clothing. One of the men was wearing grey and white Air Jordan tennis shoes and the other was carrying a gun. Both had grills on their teeth.

Austin police are handling the investigation, but University of Texas police sent a pair of alerts to the campus community warning them of the robbery. In the second alert, UTPD said there was no ongoing threat to the community and that the victim and suspects knew each other.
