Tropical depression won’t make it to Gulf

AUSTIN (KXAN) – A tropical depression is moving west across the Atlantic Ocean but is expected to lose its organization in the coming days.

The U.S. National Hurricane system reports the system’s maximum winds were 35 mph Tuesday. However, experts there say the system is expected to disintegrate into a low pressure system by the end of the week.

The storm was located about 1,025 miles from the Lesser Antilles.
