Chefs battle for best queso at Quesoff


The fourth annual Quesoff took over the Mohawk in Downtown Austin Saturday.

The event has become a battle between restaurants, chefs and anyone else who wants to join.

Some even use the occasion to make fashion statements.

“I just thought it’d be cool to form it up and do like a queso bowl with some queso in there made out of construction paper and added the chip in there,” said David Quinlan, a Quesoff attendee who transformed his beard for the event.
