KYLE, Texas (KXAN) — A man in Hays County is facing more charges after a second girl came forward saying she had been sexually assaulted.

Michael Casey Batton, 20, was first charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child in June. The 12-year-old girl reportedly met Batton on Meetme.com, a social networking site.

After seeing a report in the news, a second girl came forward saying she had been sexually assaulted by Batton when she was 16. The girl said she and Batton had become friends and would often sit in his car near Five Mile Dam Park in Kyle.

In July 2013, the two were sitting in his car when he climbed into the back seat and asked her to join him. After assuring the girl nothing would happen, she complied. Batton then took off his pants before removing hers, an arrest affidavit said. The girl said she started “flailing about,” but Batton held her down and sexually assaulted her as she repeatedly tried to break free, the document added.

The girl said she continued crying after Batton stopped. He responded by telling the girl she needed to “look presentable before he could take her home,” the warrant said.

He met the 12-year-old later in the year, and sexually assaulted the girl three times in December 2013, according to the affidavit. Each incident took place in the back of his car.

Batton turned himself back into authorities on Friday after the new charges were handed down. He remains in the Hays County Jail on $150,000 bond.

Any other victims are urged to contact the Hays County Sheriff’s Office and file a report.
