Austin men busted for having 49 pounds of marijuana in car

BASTROP COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A routine traffic stop in Bastrop County nets nearly 50 pounds of marijuana.

According to the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, a deputy pulled over a vehicle on Highway 95.

After conducting a vehicle search, authorities said the deputy found 49 pounds of marijuana.

Robert Harrison, 60, and Isaac Ramirez, 30, both from Austin, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
