Round Rock police searching for armed bank robbers

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — Round Rock police are searching for two men who robbed a bank Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to the Regions Bank at South Interstate 35 and Old Settler’s Boulevard at about 11:55 a.m.

Police say two men armed with handguns jumped over the counter, demanded money and fled. No one was injured, according to officers.

Witnesses said the men went south on I-35, toward Austin. No vehicle description was available.

The suspects are described as white men. One looks to be in his 40s and was wearing a light blue shirt and aviator sunglasses. The other suspect looks to be in his early 20s and was last seen wearing a ‘Jason mask’ and red shirt.
