APD seeking suspects in animal cruelty case

AUSTIN (KXAN) – Someone abandoned a pit bull with severe injuries Friday in the 2200 block of Investment Drive. Now, Austin Police are asking for your help finding the owners.

Police say the dog had to be euthanized because her injuries were so severe.

Detectives who are investigating as part of an animal cruelty case say the dog was found around 3:30 a.m., she did not have any tags or a microchip.

The dog is described as a brown and white pit bull with a scar along the left flank.
