Four Austin-area people killed in South Texas crash

TIVOLI, Texas (KXAN) – Four Austin-area people were killed Monday when a truck crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed into their car along a rural road in South Texas.

The crash happened about 5:30 p.m. on State Highway 35 near Farm to Market 774, about 50 miles northeast of Corpus Christi.

The victims were identified as Rosalinda Albarado, 26, of Kyle; Becelia Gutierrez, 27, of Austin; Karly Rose Chavez, 7, of Kyle; and 4-year-old Riyan Vallejo of Austin.
