AUSTIN (KXAN) — A Kickstarter campaign for potato salad that started off with a goal of $10 has now raised more than $40,000.
Oh, the Internet. We ask for potatoes, and you give us the moon.
Zack Danger Brown’s behind the joke-gone-viral, according to the Huffington Post.
He had a dream: “Basically I’m just making potato salad. I haven’t decided what kind yet.”
As he decided what kind to make, it seems like his dream hashed itself out — smashing even his own lofty goal of $10 more than 4,000 times over.
How it nets more than $40,000 (at last check)? Who knows. It’s the Internet.
Check out the Brown’s Kickstarter page for more information of how it’s panned out, even with 24 days to go.
