GEORGETOWN (KXAN) — Jury selection started Monday for a former Leander High School football player accused of sexually assaulting two boys at a in-home daycare.
The Cedar Park Police Department said that on Aug. 30 officers arrested Greg Kelley, who was 18 at the time, on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a 4-year-old boy.
Kelley was re-arrested after police said their investigation uncovered a second victim who was also a 4-year-old boy.
Police said one of the preschool-aged children told his mother that he was sexually assaulted on two different occasions.
An arrest affidavit from Cedar Park Police showed Kelley was living in the Cedar Park home about six months. That’s where the in-home daycare was ran.
The owner voluntarily shut it down during the investigation.
Leander Independent School District officials told KXAN earlier that Kelley was moved to an alternative school starting the first day of school and was not allowed to play football because of the arrest.
