GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — Georgetown police are investigating an abduction attempt that reportedly happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Police tell KXAN an 11-year-old boy ran home and told his mom a man grabbed him in the 400 block of Wildwood Drive.

He told his mom a white, four-door car pulled up and that a white man with a mustache tried to grab him. The boy said he ran, but the man got out of the car and grabbed him.

The boy told his mother he bit the suspect and ran home, telling his mother the suspect got back in his car and drove off.

Georgetown police say it is still early in their investigation and that officers are checking the area for a person matching the suspect’s vehicle and description.
