BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (CNN) — While the popularity of professional soccer is heating up in Austin and other parts of the country, passion for the sport is nonstop in other parts of the world.
The latest example is the town of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A resident captured the roar and raw emotion of a crowded neighborhood when the country’s soccer team scored and won the match against Switzerland.
Argentina moves to the quarter finals and is scheduled to play Belgium on Saturday.
Belgium beat Team USA during the second round of the World Cup 2-1 in overtime.
