Burglar strikes pair of downtown offices during business hours

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man burglarized a pair of downtown businesses on June 19, using a rolling cart to haul away the loot.

The man forced his way into a office at 816 Congress Avenue sometime after noon, and then made his way to a floor under renovation at a building at 300 W. 6th Street about 3:40 p.m. He stole computer equipment from that location before leaving on foot again with the cart.

He was last seen at 7th and Lavaca streets that day around 3:45 p.m.

He is described as:
White male
Mid 40s
200 lbs
Receding hairline
