Former UTSA coach killed in Friday motorcycle crash

AUSTIN (KXAN)- A woman killed on Friday after a motorcycle crash has been identified as former University of Texas San Antonio women’s basketball coach Rae Rippetoe-Blair.

Rippetoe-Blair, 52, coached the UTSA Roadrunners for 13 seasons before resigning last year.

On Saturday, UTSA released this statement on her death:

“We are deeply saddened to hear that our former women’s basketball coach Rae Rippetoe-Blair passed away in an accident on Friday in Austin.
