Child sex assault suspect nabbed by fugitive task force

AUSTIN (KXAN) – A man wanted in El Paso County on allegations of aggravated sexual assault of a child was arrested Friday morning in southeast Travis County by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.

Lorenzo Ramierz, III, was taken into custody after agents confirmed he was the same man named in warrants from West Texas. He faces two charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two charges of indecency with a child.

The task force says the charges are tied to incidents with the same victim over the course of several years.

He was booked into the Travis County Jail until he can be transferred back to El Paso County.
