AISD wants your opinion in superintendent search

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Independent School District School Board members want everyone from the community to get involved with the search for a new superintendent.

The District will host a series of public meetings in July at several schools.

The goal is to get input from everyone and develop a candidate profile.

The search for a new superintendent comes after Dr. Meria Carstarphen took a job in Atlanta.

You can see if a campus near your neighborhood will host one of the meetings.
