8 people injured in crash involving Cap Metro Bus

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Medics transported eight people to the hospital after a car crashed into a Capital Metro bus Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. in the 9200 block of North Lamar Blvd., south of Rundberg.

Seven people inside the bus were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Medics also transported the driver of the other vehicle.

Seven passengers on the bus did not go to the hospital.

All victims had non-life-threatening injuries.
