AUSTIN (KXAN) — A state employee working at the Capitol is charged with secretly recording lewd videos of a staffer without her permission.
Clifton James Bryan, 31, was arrested after a woman working in a state representative’s office said she caught him taking videos up her skirt Friday as she logged on to a computer he was called in to fix.
Bryan worked for the Texas Legislative Council Information Technology Section, the affidavit said.
Bryan reportedly asked the woman, who was standing, to enter login information so he could access the computer. Sitting in a chair at a desk, Bryan then began recording up the woman’s skirt with a state-issued iPhone, the document said.
After rebooting the computer, Bryan asked the woman to log in once more, and he again started recording, the warrant reads. The woman discovered what he was doing and immediately reported the incident to Texas Department of Safety officers.
Bryan later admitted to taking the videos, the affidavit said.
His bond was set at $7,500. Online records showed Bryan was not in the Travis County Jail as of Monday night.
