10 people injured in South Austin crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A five-car crash hurt 10 people and sent six to the hospital Sunday, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened at 8:45 p.m. at the southbound MoPac Service Road and Slaughter Lane.

EMS took six people to the hospital, five whom had life-threatening injuries.

EMS rescued three people who were pinned inside cars.

The intersection of West Slaughter South MoPac Service Road was blocked while officers investigated.
