Amber Alert discontinued for teen missing from Cuero

CUERO, Texas (KXAN) — Officials have discontinued an Amber Alert issued Friday morning for a 13-year-old girl who may be with a man driving a black Chevrolet Camaro.

No other details about the Amber Alert cancellation were available.

Earlier in the morning, police released the following details:

Police say Phoebe Nicole Hughes is 5’4″ tall, weights 150 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and denim capris.

Police have identified the suspect as Eric Castillo, a 34-year-old white man, who stands 5’2″ tall, 185 pounds, red hair, brown eyes and in connection with her abduction. Police say he has multiple tattoos.

The suspect drives a black, 2010, Chevy Camaro with Texas License Plate BX8 B009. The car has a Marine Corps sticker on the back windshield.

The suspect was last heard from in Cuero, Texas.
