Austin (KXAN) – With Father’s Day just a week away, reminding dad to stay healthy this year could be the best gift of all.

Dr. Brenna Gerdelman with the Austin Diagnostic Clinic joined Erin Cargile to talk about preventable health problems and healthy living for men.

The US Preventative Task Force recommends several screenings. Some of these include blood pressure checks for those 18 years and older, cholesterol checks for men 35 years and older and colon cancer screens for men 50 years and over.
