Shots fired near on-post housing at Fort Hood

FORT HOOD, Texas (KXAN) — Authorities at Fort Hood were investigating reports of shots fired in the area of Liberty Village late Tuesday night.

In a press release, the Fort Hood Public Affairs Office said the incident appears to be isolated and Emergency Service Personnel are currently evaluating the situation.

Fort Hood Police said the incident has been resolved and is under investigation by local law enforcement agencies. There is no current danger to residents or public.

Liberty Village is an on-post military family housing at Fort Hood.
