BLANCO, Texas (KXAN) — Some Blanco ISD students had their STAAR Test results invalidated after the district notified the Texas Education Agency of a potential testing irregularity.

The district found it appropriate to invalidate the test in the U.S. History classes for a particular teacher because they felt the students may have been provided with an unfair advantage.

The TEA agreed, so the test scores for the May end-of-course exam were invalidated.

Students will have the opportunity to retake the test in July or December.
