MAITLAND, Fla. (NBC/WESH /FLORIDA DOT) — A woman narrowly escapes her stalled-out car as a commuter train barrels down the tracks.

Video released by the Florida Department of Transportation shows the SunRail train crashing into the car in Maitland on Monday.

A 28-year-old woman barely escaped from her car before the train hit.

The train was going 40 mph when it hit the car.

The woman was hit by debris but was not seriously injured.
