GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — Police are looking for a man who tried to lure a child away from his mother with a toy at Blue Hole Park on Monday.

The incident happened about 3:10 p.m.

The white man was about 50 years old with a thin build and stood around 6 feet tall. He had shoulder-length strawberry-blond hair, scruffy facial hair and brown eyes.

The man wore a black hat, a black shirt with gray long sleeves, and blue jeans with holes in them.

He also had a small dog with reddish, shaggy hair.

Police say the suspect left with a younger man in a small car, similar to a Honda Civic or Toyota Camry. It was gold and had four doors.

Still, police say the man did not commit a crime and are unsure if there was any criminal intent.

Anyone with information is asked to email or call Georgetown Police Department Detective Bill Pascoe at 512-930-8407.
