ARLINGTON, Texas (KXAN) — A young Texas Rangers fan pulls a fast one — at none other than the baseball stands. Fitting.
A Toronto Blue Jays player hit a foul ball at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas, so the third base coach tossed it to the boy.
They boy then cleverly turns around and passes the baseball on to a young lady sitting behind him – who is nothing but smiles at the kind gesture.
But if you kept your eye on the ball, you’d know it wasn’t the same ball the player passed along to him. Instead, the smooth operator keeps the game ball – tucked away in his glove — and passes off the extra ball he already had in one of his hands.
Smooth move, player. Smooth move.
