Police presence upped at school after threat of retaliation from prior incident

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — Students were not allowed to leave campus for a period of time and security was increased at Pflugerville High School as a precautionary measure in response to an incident the day before, a spokesperson for the district said.

Authorities said they were investigating rumors that stemmed from an off-campus incident on Wednesday and reports of retaliation.

A ‘reverse evacuation’ was put into place around noon and was lifted at 1:15 p.m. During that time students were not allowed to leave campus and outside access to the campus was limited. Students were still able to move about inside the building.
