Truck swerves into car in apparent road rage incident

NORTH OF SAN DIEGO (NBC/KNSD) — An apparent road rage incident on a busy southern California interstate is all caught on video.

It happened Saturday on Interstate 8 north of San Diego, involving two drivers.

In the video, you see the driver of a pickup truck pull alongside a second car as the two speed down the interstate.

You then see the driver of the truck swerve into the car, causing both drivers to lose control and crash on the shoulder.

Neither driver suffered serious injury.

Police are now trying to determine if the incident was an accident or a criminal act.

If the driver of the pickup intentionally caused the crash, she could face charges ranging from reckless driving to attempted murder.
