missing infant

STEPHENVILLE, Texas (KXAN/KXAS) – A 2-month-old girl has been found safe after her mother says a woman snatched her out of her car seat Friday morning in Stephenville, according to KXAS, the NBC affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Addalie Grace Christensen was found in Dublin, about 15 miles away from where she was kidnapped.

Police arrested 38-year-old Latonya Suzette McClain. She will be charged with aggravated kidnapping, KXAS reported.

McClain snatched the infant directly from her car seat as her mother unloaded the car in front of their Stephenville home, police said.

Officers told KXAS that when McClain confronted the child’s mother, she demanded cash. When the mother told her she didn’t have any, McClain grabbed the baby and ran.
